About

Kiyana N. Jackson, LCPC

(Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor)

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, with 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. I earned my Bachelor's Degree (2004) in psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and my Master's Degree (2008) in Community/Professional  Counseling from Argosy University. I am also certified as a Stephen Minister which equips me to provide care in a distinctively Christian way as well as  a SYMBIS facilitator for dating, engaged, or already married couples seeking tools to strengthen their relationship.

Along with being a caring and compassionate counselor, I am also the wife of a wonderful husband and the mother of two amazing children. Besides working, much of my time is spent raising the little ones, with my hubby or enjoying fun activities as a family; I also like to visit different places and try new things. Whenever possible, I take time to just relax, catch up with family/friends, or watch a good movie. And lastly, it's always a joy to engage with inspirational people, books, and music.

With a focus on personal and professional development, business success, and overall growth; I often attend or share information about local community functions. Some activities include, but are not limited to, networking with other businesses, volunteering with charity organizations, attending health and wellness workshops/seminars or any events (schools, libraries, park district) that promote positive, healthy interactions for the family.
