    About

    Kiyana N. Jackson, LCPC

    M.A. (Community Counseling)

    LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor)
    NCC (National Certified Counselor)

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. I am also nationally certified through NBCC and adhere to a strict code of ethics. I earned her Bachelor's Degree (2004) in psychology from University of Wisconsin - Madison and my Master's Degree (2008) in Community Counseling from Argosy University. More recently, I completed 20 hours of training and is a certified Stephen Minister. This equips me to provide care in a distinctively Christian way.

Along with being a caring and compassionate counselor, I am also the wife of a wonderful husband and the mother of two amazing children. Besides working, much of my time is spent raising the little ones, with my hubby or enjoying fun activities as a family; I also like to visit different places and try new things. Whenever possible, I take time to just relax, catch up with family/friends, or watch a good movie. And lastly, it's always a joy to engage with inspirational people, books, and music.

With a focus on personal and professional development, business success, and overall growth; I often attend or share information about local community functions. Some activities include, but are not limited to, networking with other businesses, volunteering with charity organizations, attending health and wellness workshops/seminars or any events (schools, libraries, park district) that promote positive, healthy interactions for the family.
